MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage therapy has long been used to aid in relaxation and stress relief. As such, it has often been viewed as pampering or a luxury, but massage therapy has many faces, and can be an integral part of health and well-being. It provides pain relief for overworked muscles, enhances circulation and immune system functioning, improves flexibility and mobility, aids in pre-surgery preparation and post-surgery rehabilitation, enhances athletic performance and recovery, helps improve scar tissue and function after an injury, and much more. Moreover, even the relaxation effect of massage therapy assists the body in being more receptive to healing, and the simple act of safe and restorative physical touch can provide the connection we all need these days.

Additionally, people with arthritis, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune disorders, allergies, pain syndromes, neurological disorders, post-surgical procedures, pre/post-natal edema, skin conditions, anxiety, and depression can benefit greatly from this work.
